Frequent Questions

Q. My car loan application has been rejected by other companies, is Auto Loans Ontario different?

Yes, we are very different! We work with every major bank, some of which don’t who deal with the public directly, and are willing to offer you a car loan if you’ve been rejected by the big banks due to no or bad credit.

Q. Do I need a Down Payment on My Car?

Nope! In most cases we can get you into your vehicle with $0 down.

Q. Do I need to have a Co-signer?

Our first attempt is to always get you into a vehicle without a co-signer. However, sometimes we suggest our customers to obtain a co-signer to strengthen their application. This may reduce the interest rate, monthly payment and get you approved for a car loan faster. Give us a call first, and we’ll help you figure it out.

Q. How much money do I need to put down?

Feel free to put down as little or as much as you’re comfortable with. In some cases, the lender’s approval for an auto loan may require you to put down a small down payment. But no matter what your situation is, we can find a payment structure that suits you best.

Q. Do I get to select my car or do you present them to me?

We work with you to find YOU the right vehicle that you need. At the end of the day, it’s up to you on what car you would like to drive. If you’re unsure of what to do, our expert advisors can present you a couple car options for you to choose from thanks to our 4,000+ vehicle inventory.

Q. I owe more money on my car that I’m driving than it is worth - Can you help?

Absolutely, we can! It’s called being “upside down”, and it’s a very common reason why people apply for bad credit auto financing in the first place. Without increasing your payments, we work hard to include your previous car loan in the new one, after assessing your situation.

Q. Once I get approved - how long is the approval good for?

This does depend on the lender, as many have different policies. However, typically bank’s car loan approvals in Ontario are valid for 30 days. Considering that we can usually get you into a vehicle within a few days, it shouldn’t be much of a concern!
